Looking to rehome this sweet girl ��%90%BE My friend is looking to rehome his dog, Goldie, due to changes in his housing situation and a busy work schedule. He just wants to make sure she goes to a home where she can get the time and attention she deserves. Goldie is an almost 4-year-old female Catahoula/German Shepherd mix. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. She's incredibly sweet, loyal, and loves being around her people. She would do best in a home where someone is around more often, and she may do well with another dog depending on the fit. She would likely do best with older children who can respect her space. She is not food aggressive, but she can be a little protective of her 'safe spaces' (for example, she tends to claim a favorite spot like a bedroom and prefers other animals not to bother her there). With the right environment and understanding, she does really well. Goldie knows some basic commands like sit and shake. She isn't fully leash-trained to heel, but she does pretty well on walks. She's pretty relaxed overall-she loves to nap during the day with some playful bursts of energy.
