Griddle is 100 pounds of cuddlebug. He could benefit from some just basic training, as I have a toddler and haven't put the time in that I should have. He's a smart boy and just craves love but he shows some fear aggression around strangers. As big as he is, he needs room to roam. He lives with one other dog, a 30 pound terrier, and they love to play together. They do occasionally have spats over food. Unfortunately, one of the two dogs bit my toddler. We were all in the backyard and I popped into the house for no more than thirty seconds. I heard growling and went running. In the seconds it took me to return, I found that my son had been bitten. There's no way to know which dog it was, or if my son perhaps got in the middle of a spat between them. At any rate, I no longer feel safe having either dog around my son. It's absolutely heartbreaking, as we have loved Griddle for three years and he never showed aggression towards the child. He deserves a loving home, just without children.
