About HONEY

Courtesy Posting: EUTH LISTED TODAY! PORTALES, NEW MEXICO - REMOTE NEW MEXICO SHELTER - - City of Portales Animal Services Chows Oso and Honey to be pts 3/13! Got slight extension to 3/14 at 3 pm for Oso, and 3/16 for Honey. RESCUE ONLY- FOSTERS AND RESCUE NEEDED ASAP for both, but THEY DO NOT NEED TOGETHER, SAVING ONE IS BETTER THAN NONE. Stunning Female and male, the male is apparently scheduled 3/13 for no reason other than some bad backyard breeder these poor dogs to breed, and now they have ended up abandoned at this remote shelter that is full and dogs only have a few days. They made Oso Rescue only for shyness, and because they want him to go to a rescue that is breed savvy, meaning only a rescue can pull him from the shelter. We have nice video of him though. While Honey is more friendly with strangers, she is Rescue only too because local people were trying to adopt and the shelter doesn't fix their dogs and does not want her used for further breeding. She is expected to be on Monday's deadline, we will find out last minute. A local rescue group can pull or transport for a willing rescue or breed savvy foster or adopter possibly, but this must go through a rescue. Of course, rescues need a foster and place for a dog to go. We have such little time to save either or both.
