Am in danger since considered a longer-term doggie at the shelter, so may be made to 'disappear', when it gets over-capacity, which it often does. Arrived here on Jan. 26th. Kept hoping and hoping, my human would come looking for me, but no one ever came. I don't know why, since am a good boy. The volunteers say I am a 'gem'. I am a calm doggie, not jump up at the volunteers. I like my treats, but most of all like to cuddle with the volunteers, but sadly that does not happen often enough, since so many doggies here, not enough volunteers. Please, come meet me. Maybe take me home? We can cuddle, feed each other treats, take nice walks, or play in the yard, the house, wherever you prefer, I am not picky. Come. Human speaking here now, please, please, if have the ability to adopt, even foster Hardhat (different process, I can explain), any of the dogs listed at the shelter on here, many more that aren't listed, come out to Chicago Animal Care and Control, to meet them. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, very real risk, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, which is a tragedy upon a tragedy, to be locked up so much. It shows what great dogs they are, that they are able to still continue to be great, even though caged up for much of the time. Please, come out. If want to see other wonderful doggies, besides Hardhat, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in very much need of finding a loving home, scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
