Pepper - Sweet Little Survivor Looking for the Right Home ��%90%BE Pepper is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing about 9 pounds. He is neutered, fully vetted, and ready for a loving home. Pepper can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he learns to trust you he becomes very sweet, loyal, and devoted to his person. He forms strong bonds and loves being close to the people he feels safe with. Because of his sensitive nature, Pepper would do best in a calm, patient home where he can take his time settling in and building trust. Home Environment �'ۢ Best in a home without babies or toddlers �'ۢ Older, respectful children may be okay, but we are unsure �'ۢ A quiet home with patient owners would suit him best Other Pets �'ۢ Can live with other dogs but may need time to warm up �'ۢ Gets along with some dogs, but not every dog �'ۢ Inside the house he does well with cats, though outside he may playfully chase them Medical History Pepper is also a little survivor. About 7 months ago he was attacked by another dog and suffered a broken leg. He had surgery and several treatments, but the leg did not fully heal. The good news is that Pepper gets around great on three legs and lives a happy, active life. Many dogs thrive as 'tripods,' and Pepper is no exception. All veterinary records are available.
