About Pheasant aka Phessy

Hi everyone, my name is Pheasant, my foster mom calls me Phessy. I am a beautiful 5 year old purebred golden retriever. I spent my first 5 years in a puppy mill having babies for others to love. Now it's my turn to find a family to love me. I am potty trained and love to run in my backyard. Being from a puppy mill I need a fenced in back yard with a 6 foot high fence to keep me safe. I still need my mom to put me on a leash to go inside and outside ( thresholds scare me). When inside I love to hang out on a dog bed. I love all other dogs and don't care either way about cats. I also love all people but am shy at first. I would do best in a home with a playmate to help me learn how to be a dog.
