This is our sweet boy Ace! He's a four year old American Staffordshire Terrier. We've had him for about 3 months, we sort of rescued him. His owners abandoned him with a rover sitter and they were unable to care for him long term. The biggest reason for us needing to rehome him is his reactivity. He does not get along well with other dogs which we later found out once he came home. There have been two instances where he has bit another dog. The first time was about a week after we brought him home my brother was playing with him in a park and Ace saw another dog and ran towards it. Since, we never let him off leash unless we're alone in a closed-fenced area. The second was recent. While I was grooming him outside our house when an off leash dog ran towards us and while I tried to keep a hold on Ace's collar I could not hold on and it slipped from my hold. it led to damages to both parties. Along with financial hardship we cannot keep ace with us to continue getting him the training and attention he needs to be the best dog! besides this down side ace truly is a sweet, affectionate young man. he does well with adults and kids though we are not around very young children. he loves to play tag, enrichment games, cuddles, walks, running. he's pretty chill, hasn't chewed shoes/furniture. he lovesss pets. he will plop down on you feet and demand a back rub haha! im not sure if he is pure or a mix
