About Bruce

Looking for the Right Home for Bruce ��ժ (Great Dane - Orange County, CA) This is a post we never imagined having to write. Our sweet boy Bruce needs a new home, and we're hoping to find someone in the Great Dane community who might be the perfect fit for him. Bruce is a 2.5-year-old black Great Dane (about 140 lbs) with the most gentle, loving personality. He has been with our family since he was four months old and has grown up in a home with our daughter and another dog. He is truly a classic Dane velcro dog - he loves being close to his people and just hanging out wherever the family is. Bruce is: �'ۢ Fully house trained �'ۢ Crate trained �'ۢ Great on leash �'ۢ Professionally trained and a great listener �'ۢ Fantastic with children �'ۢ Great with other dogs �'ۢ Calm in the house but still playful and goofy like a Dane should be He recently saw the vet and is up to date on vaccinations. He does have a mild yeast-related skin issue that we manage naturally and it is currently under control. The only reason we are rehoming him is because our daughter has developed severe allergies, and our son (Bruce's original owner) recently moved to another city for work and, unfortunately, cannot take him with him. Bruce truly deserves a home where he can get the space, love, and companionship he thrives on. We are not in a rush to place him with just anyone - our priority is finding the right home, ideally with someone familiar with Great Danes or other giant breeds.
