About MACKIE

Mackie came to us when his human passed away. He was initially very sad but has slowly come out of his shell (and grief) and is adjusting to his new life and his foster home. Mackie is 12-13 years old and is around 22 lbs (tall boy). He is very polite and is housebroken, leash trained and tolerates a crate for short periods however also has excellent house manners so can be left to free roam without issue. Mackie is also quiet (not an excessive barker) so could potentially live in a condo or townhome setting. He might prefer someone home alot as that is what he is used to. Mackie is good with children and has lived with other dogs and is a gentle soul. Mackie is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped and will be getting a dental while in the rescue.
