Meet Chanel - A Big Puppy With an Even Bigger Heart... Chanel is a stunning 6-month-old Fila Brasileiro/Cane Corso mix with a presence that turns heads everywhere she goes. At just six months old, she's already about 85 pounds of love, loyalty, and playful puppy energy - and she still has plenty of growing to do! Chanel's story began in Miami, where her original owner had both her mom and dad and only one puppy in the litter - Chanel. She was given to someone who unfortunately had to return her at five months old when he left to join the military. Through no fault of her own, Chanel found herself needing a new beginning and a family who will love her forever. Despite the unexpected change in her life, Chanel has remained an incredibly sweet and social girl. She gets along wonderfully with other animals and enjoys being around people of all ages, including kids. While we're not completely sure how she feels about cats yet, her impressive size and confident presence can be a little intimidating. Like any young pup, Chanel is full of energy and absolutely loves to play. She would thrive in a home that can give her plenty of exercise, attention, and continued guidance as she grows into the magnificent dog she is meant to be. She's already off to a great start - she is house-broken and crate trained, and she's smart enough to learn even more. Chanel is also protective in all the right ways. She will bark when needed, making her both a loving companion and a wonderful guardian for her future family. Chanel isn't just looking for a home - she's looking for her person or family, someone who will embrace her playful spirit, appreciate her loyalty, and give her the loving life she deserves. If you're looking for a devoted companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Chanel may be the perfect addition to your family. My biggest addiction is empathy, and it's very hard for me to turn my back on a dog. I've been trying to curtail rescuing, because I was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago. I actually had surgery September 4th, 2024, and was in the hospital for 2 months due to complications and infections and again recently 2 days before this past Thanksgiving. When they came to me for help to find Chanel the home that she needs, I just couldn't say no, as I know Im really good at matching appropriately, and it was important to me that she is carefully and properly placed. My goal is to make sure Chanel finds a final forever loving home. Because of Chanel's size, age, and level of energy, she really needs to be in a home, not an apartment, and please privacy fences only...no chainlink/see through fences. My goal is to make sure I get Chanel the home that she needs and deserves with someone who will love her and give her all the care and attention and affection that she deserves for the rest of her life and be able to be committed to her physically, mentally, emotionally and financially. The best thing I could possibly do for Chanel is to find her a forever loving home where she will be happy ..'Till death do you part'. . I have made the commitment to Chanel to make sure I find her the opportunity to find the right home she needs and deserves. My promise to her now is to make sure I find her the best forever home with one who will love her for the rest of her long life ahead ....an individual or family who will continue to let us know how wonderfully she is doing. Chanel is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm tested, heartworm negative, on heartworm & flea/tick prevention, microchipped (and microchip remains in my name indefinitely for her safety...more than happy to explain) & if u adopt her, you MUST keep her on both & up to date with yearly check ups & vaccines.
