Scooby is a laid-back sweetheart whose foster describes him as a true 'chill love bug.' If you're looking for a calm companion who enjoys relaxing by your side, Scooby might be your perfect match. This easygoing guy has a low energy level and is happiest when he's lounging, snoozing, or hanging out near his people. He especially loves sunbathing and will happily soak up the warmth while you go about your day. Scooby is affectionate without being clingy-he enjoys being close but also settles nicely and relaxes on his own. When guests come into the home, Scooby greets them with a very calm, polite demeanor. He doesn't jump, bark, or rush the door-he simply approaches in a relaxed way and is friendly with new people. Scooby is house trained and crate trained, and he actually loves his crate, treating it like his own cozy retreat. He also knows some basic commands and is continuing to settle into foster life, where his personality is continuing to blossom. On walks, Scooby sometimes wants to greet other dogs, though he hasn't encountered many yet. At the shelter, he was great with dogs his size in playgroups! He hasn't met any kids yet, but because of his chill, laid back nature, he would likely do well with them. Overall, Scooby is a gentle, mellow companion who enjoys the simple things in life: naps, sunshine, and being near his favorite humans.
