Born on December 7, this wire-haired pup came into rescue alongside his sister Siobhan and several other dogs after a difficult start in life. So far, 12 dogs have been safely brought into rescue from the home, and Limerick is one of the lucky ones now waiting for his own forever family. Despite his ruff beginning, Limerick hasn't let it dim his joy. He's sweet, curious, and absolutely loves toys. If there's a squeaker, rope, or stuffed animal nearby, you can bet Limerick will be happily entertaining himself (and anyone watching). With his scruffy coat and bright personality, we suspect he may have a mix of wire-haired terrier along with possible Husky or Retriever influence-but as always, breeds are our best guess. What we do know for certain is that Limerick is full of affection and ready to bond with his people. Why Limerick will steal your heart: %90%BE Sweet, playful puppy personality %90%BE LOVES toys and playtime %90%BE Resilient little guy with a happy spirit %90%BE Gets along well with other animals %90%BE Adorable scruffy face that's impossible to resist Limerick is currently available as foster-to-adopt while he awaits his neuter appointment. This means the lucky family who welcomes him home now gets a head start on building that lifelong bond. Even though life started a little ruff for this boy, his tail still wags with optimism. All he needs now is a family to grow up with, adventures to share, and a toy basket that's always full. Somewhere out there is the family who will turn Limerick's rescue story into the happy ending he deserves. Maybe it's yours. %90%BE If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is prioritized if a yard is present. Temperament cannot be and is not guaranteed. %90%BE
