About Pongo

Pongo was born in December 2024 and weighs 47 lbs . Pongo does well with other dogs and children. He loves to play fetch and go for walks. We are addressing his skin issues and will be scheduled to be neutered soon. Pongo is participating in the cell dog program which is where the dog stays at the prison with a dog handler working on basic obedience and house, crate, and leash training. It's an amazing program! We will start taking apps but she will be in the program for a few weeks so please be patient. The adoption fee covers the neuter at our vet, vaccines (which include DHLPPC, Lyme, Bordetella & Rabies) dewormings and heartworm/lyme testing. If you are out of the area, you would be responsible to complete the vetting that has not been completed by the time of adoption.
