In danger since I am considered a long-term doggie at the shelter, which means when it gets over-capacity, which happens often, I may be made to 'disappear' to make room for more doggies. Please help me. Am only about 2 years old, so still have a lot of life left to live, lots of love left to give. The volunteers say I am happy guy and likes attention (snuggling up with them and body scratches). I like to be close to them and soak up the affection. Play nice in doggie playgroup; also met a boy doggie on leash, played nice with him, too. Come meet me. Maybe take me home? I love you, you love me, forever. Human speaking now, please, please, if have the ability to adopt, even foster (different process, I can explain it), Otis, any of the dogs listed at the shelter on this site, many more that aren't listed, come out to Chicago Animal Care and Control, to meet them, possibly fall in love. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, another tragedy on top of it. It shows what great dogs they are, that they are able to still continue to be great, even though caged up for so much of the time. Please, come out. If want to see other wonderful doggies, besides Otis, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in very much need of finding a loving home, just scroll down, and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
