Mabel - 7 Year Old Redbone Coonhound Looking for a New Home Mabel is a 7-year-old Redbone Coonhound looking for a new home where she can be the only dog. She is spayed, house trained, and crate trained. She even rings a bell on the back door when she needs to go outside. Mabel loves being warm and cozy. Her favorite things are laying in the sun, sleeping by the fire, and curling up with a blanket over her. She's a pretty relaxed dog most of the time and enjoys lounging around the house. She knows basic commands like sit and stay, and she does well with adults and has generally been friendly with kids. She has had some limited exposure to cats and usually leaves them alone. Mabel would thrive in a home where she can get more one-on-one attention, regular walks, and space to explore. Like many hounds, she enjoys getting outside and using her nose, and she would love a home where someone has the time to spend with her. We are unfortunately looking to rehome Mabel because she has developed aggression toward our other dog over food and bones in the past year. Because of this, she would do best in a home where she is the only dog and where her environment around food can be managed carefully. This has been a very difficult decision for our family, but we want to find a home where she can be safe and successful. Mabel would likely do best with someone experienced with dogs who can give her a calm home and individual attention. Please message if you'd like to learn more about her.
