Poland, Ohio (willing to drive anywhere within reason). 8 Y/O FEMALE Full Blood GSD (Estimated DOB: 3/15/18). Her name is 'Izzy'. Background: Izzy was rescued about 6 months ago from a neglectful situation where she was left in a shed during 90� temperatures. Since being rescued, she has been living in a home environment and receiving the care she deserves. Previous Person stated she is AKC registered, however there are no papers available. Unknown if UTD on shots WITHOUT record. Fixed. Good with kids. NOT Good with dogs. Unknown with cats. House trained. Crate trained unknown (she is typically closed off in a room when left alone). Any known medical issues?: None known, but has Sensitive ears - does not like her ears touched. Abuse/Neglect/Trauma History?: Yes. Previously neglected and left in extreme heat inside a closed shed. ENERGY LEVEL: Low. PREY DRIVE LEVEL: Medium. Weighs 60 lbs. Currently on Blue Buffalo dog food. Good with car rides?: Yes. Socialized with: *people?: Yes. *dogs?: Yes, but does not do well living with other dogs. Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): No. She will bark and growl at first when meeting new adults. If ignored and allowed proper space with slow introductions, she will eventually warm up. Loves: Balls, ropes, chew toys, cuddling, walks, chilling on the couch, playing fetch, being near her person, and treats. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?: Yes. *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): Unknown. *Good on a Leash?: Yes. *Lovable?: Yes - very affectionate once comfortable. *Eager and fast learner?: Yes. Bite History?: None known.
