Blueberry Muffin, 9 yr old gentle pup was surrendered because his prior family moved- and same old story- they did not or could not take him with them so they dropped him at ACC- one of the most crowded shelters in our area. He is a family dog. He will let you know if someone is at the door with a polite alert bark- just doing his job as a family dog; below are noes from his prior humans: he isn't bothered when he is held/restrained, disturbed when sleeping, startled. He is social/affectionate, very active & playful and vocal. He likes to be where people are, the bedroom, kitchen, living room and his crate. He goes to the groomer and doesn't allow his feet/nails to be touched. He goes on 2-30min walks 3-4x daily with very little to mild pulling. He is crate trained up to 7 hours and getting in the car makes him nervous, he will eventually settle down. He knows the cues for sit, stay and crate/home. He has lived with two adults and a child. He seems to be a family dog who now through no fault of his own, in need of a home. Please step up if you want to give Blueberry Muffin a home- the overcrowded city shelter is not a place where he or any dog should be living for any period of time.
