About Travis the Golden Retr

Arriving in Wisconsin March 20th! Travis is a handsome 3 year old Golden Retriever. He is on the larger size for a Golden Retriever and has the typical sweet and playful personality Goldens are known for! Travis was found after being abandoned near a grocery store in rural Texas. He waited by the front door of the store for 2 days, but his family never came back for him. He stole the hearts of the store workers, and eventually they let him in and got him to safety. He is excited to make his trip to Wisconsin and find his forever family. He is neutered, tested heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, March 20th, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $750, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $375, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday March 20th. If upon meeting, he is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent him from finding his forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog.
