About Ricky the Golden Retri

Arriving in Wisconsin March 20th! Ricky is a handsome 7 year old Golden Retriever. He has the typical sweet and playful personality Goldens are known for along with a stunning dark gold coat! Ricky was raised on a cattle ranch and is used to being around people and other animals. One day he found himself too excited and nipped at a farm animal and his family decided he was no longer able to stay on the farm. He has been boarded for the past few months while waiting for a rescue to save him. He is excited to make his trip to Wisconsin and find his forever family. He is good with other dogs and children, however we would recommend him not being around large farm animals due to his history. He is neutered, tested heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, March 20th, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday March 20th. If upon meeting, he is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent him from finding his forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog.
