About Bruce

Meet Bruce, a young, friendly male 1 year old Great Pyrenees mix who's ready to find his forever family! With a heart as big as the great outdoors, Bruce is always up for adventures and exploring new horizons. He's a very sweet and affectionate dog. He is quick to offer a listening ear - or a sweet hug - to anyone he meets. Bruce has a heart as fluffy as a cloud and a spirit brighter than sunshine. He is the perfect addition to a family seeking an energetic and devoted friend. He is good with dogs, even when they are barking! He is also incredible smart. He knows how to open doors (foster mom discovered this when he easily let himself into the house!), sit, and walks comfortably on a leash. He is house trained and weighs in currently at 93 lbs but at only 1 year old will probably be over 120 lb When foully grown.. He is truly the perfect pup! He would more than likely do great in a home with kids, older. is probably better since he is a 100lb hugger. He definitely needs a yard and preferably a climate to suit his very thick furry coat. When he was found he was very matted and dirty. The only way to clean him up was to shave him and let his fur grown back in. But given time he will be a fluffy puppy in no time. He is neutered and vaccinated and ready for a home of his very own! He is currently located in Houston, TX but can be transported to most states for a fee.
