About Gauge

Gauge is a 9 yr old Belgian Malinois Dutch Shepherd cross. Pros- He's a disgrace to his breed��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BDwhich means he's not psychotic & will happily lay at your feet all day. His energy level is 2nd only to a sloth. Which means he walks politely on a leash cause he's only interested in getting back to the house. He has some elbow joint issues that bother him only if he's been running or jumping a lot, so pro-no need to spend hours throwing a ball he'd rather lay on his bed. He knows basic commands & has never had an accident in the house. Cons - If having a physical shadow follow you all over, literally everywhere, every single time you move, if that bothers you, then he's not for you. If you're not going to be home for hours during the day he's not for you. While he will reside locked in his crate, waiting for you, this is why we're trying to place him now, it's not fair to him, he needs someone home all day. He has never been able to tolerate car rides & we've tried everything from riding up front to CBD. He will puke and then dry heave the entire trip and he's too anxious to leave loose inside or outside the house. So home bodies only need apply. We will be very picky about where he goes. A lovely retired couple or someone who works from home would be great. While our work & school schedules dictate we find him people who are home a lot, we will not just place him with anyone.
