Help. Am considered a longer-term doggie at the shelter, so may be made to 'disappear', be gone, when the shelter gets over-capacity, which happens often, to make room. Please, am only about 18 months old, have so much life to live, so much love to give, give me a chance. The volunteers at the shelter say I am very sweet, love being petted, snuggling, have such soft fur, am a fun, silly girl. I am starting to get the hang of sit, pretty good. Since am a smart girl and like my treats, you can teach me so, so much. Come visit me. Maybe take me home? We can be silly together. Human speaking here now, please, please, if have the ability to adopt, even foster (different process, I can explain it), Leela, any of the dogs listed at the shelter on this site, many more that aren't listed, come out to Chicago Animal Care and Control, to meet them. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, another tragedy on top of it. It shows what great dogs they are, that they are able to still continue to be great, even though caged up for so much of the time. Please, come out. If want to see other wonderful doggies, besides Leela, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in very much need of finding a loving home, just scroll down, and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
