About Samika

Help me, please. Am in danger of being no more, to be made to 'disappear', since am high up on that tragic list, when the shelter gets over-capacity, which it often does, due to being left here by my human and am considered a longer-term doggie at the shelter. I am only 5 years young, have a lot of life left to live, have a lot of love still to give, don't let me 'disappear'. I am a peppy doggie, besides a pretty girl. I got my sit down pretty good, but need to learn to be a little less jumpy, but am smart, so can teach me that easily. I like playing with toys, doing some fetch, but really, love, love my treats and snuggling up with the volunteers, but sadly, not enough of that, since so many doggies here, not enough volunteers. Please come visit me. Maybe take me home? Possibly save by life. Come. Human speaking here, please, please, if have the ability to adopt, even foster (different process, I can explain it), Samika, any of the dogs listed at the shelter on this site, many more that aren't listed, come out to Chicago Animal Care and Control, to meet them. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, which is tragedy stacked upon tragedy. It shows what great dogs they are, that they are still able to continue to be great, even though caged up so much. Please, come out.
