About Bonnie

Bonnie is a happy, affectionate girl who makes fast friends with everyone she meets. She's easy to handle on leash up and a dream - she sticks by your side without pulling on the leash and enjoying the sights at a relaxed pace. She does get a little bouncy when she's excited and may hop up to ask for attention, but she's very manageable and just eager to be close to you. This playful pup loves toys and will happily chase after them, though she's just as content soaking up affection. Ask her for a sit and she'll happily oblige, especially if a toy or treat is involved! Bonnie takes treats gently from your hand, even when she's excited, and her sweet manners shine through. Her absolute favorite thing? Belly rubs. Bonnie will dramatically flop onto her back and stay upside down as long as you'll keep the pets coming - and if you stop, expect a few gentle paws asking for more! She thrives on attention and loves being part of the action. She's done well meeting other dogs in the shelter who don't mind her rough-and-tumble play style.
