About GABE

GABE IS LOSING HOPE... AND WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME TO CHANGE HIS STORY. Every day, Gabe sits in boarding and cries. Not because he's a bad dog. Not because he's difficult. Not because he has nowhere to go. He cries because he is lonely. At just 2.5 years old, Gabe should be chasing butterflies across a backyard, playing with his people, and doing what a herding dog was born to do... moving, exploring, and being part of a family. Instead, he spends his days staring through kennel doors, waiting for someone to choose him. Gabe has already been failed by humans thrice. He deserves better than a life of confinement. This handsome boy is fully vetted, housebroken, dog friendly, cat friendly, and has so much love to give. He thrives on companionship and would do best in a calmer home where he can finally relax and learn that he is safe, loved, and wanted. His goofy grin still appears when someone gives him attention. His tail still wags. His heart is still open. But boarding is not a home. Please, if you have room in your heart and home, consider fostering or adopting Gabe!!!
