Maverick's Story Furry Sidekick has a minimum age requirement of 21. Maverick is in a foster home located in Dallas TX . Application is required. Before coming to us, he was seen regularly by a local veterinary clinic. When we contacted them, they remembered him well and were very happy to hear he was now safe and away from the situation he had been in. Maverick is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. We have all of his veterinary records and can make sure he receives whatever he needs before adoption. He spent most of his life in a kennel before being surrendered, but despite that he is extremely well house trained. He could benefit from some continued socializing and basic training. Maverick is a very friendly, affectionate dog who sometimes forgets his size and can be a little rough when he gets excited. Because of that, he would likely do best in a home without small children or elderly family members. He would also need to be the ONLY DOG in the home. He is incredibly sweet and loves to show affection-often 'hugging' and gently nuzzling his head between your arm and body. Maverick is just waiting for someone willing to give him the time, patience, and love he deserves. As a fee-based adoption rescue, we do not operate on monthly support or fund raisers. Our adoption fee is $350, and transport is arranged for post-adoption. The fee is tax-deductible, as we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
