Sol | ~2 years | 52 lbs | Shepherd-Husky Mix Sol is the kind of dog who greets you with hugs and face kisses. She loves hard and she's not shy about it. She's cheerful, smart, and deeply bonded to her people. Happiest when life has fresh air, a routine, and someone she can really trust. At home she's calm and easygoing - potty trained, crate trained, knows her commands, and perfectly content to nap on the couch after a good walk. She recently completed a board and train program where she proved she can focus, walk politely on leash, and coexist calmly with dogs she doesn't need to play with. She was pulled from a high-kill shelter just in time, and she's been quietly proving ever since that she was worth it. What life with Sol looks like: ------------------ Hikes, sniff walks, trail adventures, and coming home to a dog who acts like you've been gone for a year even if it's been ten minutes. She's a loyal, loving, full-body-experience kind of dog. Give her exercise, consistency, and a person she can bond with, and she will give you everything she's got. Who she needs: ----------- Someone who has owned or worked with German Shepherds, Huskies, Malamutes, or similar working breeds. Not because she's difficult, but because her smarts and sensitivity shine brightest with someone who genuinely gets dogs like her. Someone active, someone who enjoys training as part of the bond, and someone who knows that the first days in a new home are a transition, not an audition. If there's another dog in the home, she does best with male Huskies or Husky/Shepherd/Malamute mixes, ages 1-5, who can match her energy. She plays rough and joyfully and needs a dog who can keep up. A honest note: ---------- Sol will test boundaries during the adjustment period and may bark for attention while she finds her footing. She needs someone who can stay calm, hold the line with warmth, and give her the time to settle. She's done it before and she'll do it again. That's not a warning, it's just who she is in a new space, and the right person will know exactly what to do. The right person for Sol isn't looking for a perfect dog. They're looking for the right one. If that's you, we'd love to talk. Contact @PawesomeBaby to start the conversation. More photos & videos: Instagram @PawesomeBaby
