I was left here by my human on Jan. 18th, so that puts me in a dangerous position when the shelter gets over-capacity, which it OFTEN does. Danger zone since the shelter will have to make some of us permanently 'disappear', for lack of space, I and am at the top of that tragic list, since was left here by my human, PLUS, am considered a longer-term dog here. I don't know why left here, since am a very good boy. I like to stay close to the volunteers, since am afraid, so loud here with so many doggies barking, not a home, so different from everything I have ever known, scary. I may look like a toughie, but am not, am very gentle. Have met some doggies here on leash, am the timid type, but did some sniffing. I am not young, but not old either, only 7, have good spunk. Have a lot of years left to live, a lot of love yet to give. Please, please, come meet me. Maybe take me home? I will feel safe with you, will be safe with you, not be afraid, anymore. Am a good boy. Come. If want to see other GREAT, wonderful doggies, besides ME, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, just scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
