ALBUS UPDATE ��%90%BE From the euthanasia list�'�| to someday someone's new best friend. Albus is currently settling into foster life in Miami Beach (yes, this man really upgraded his lifestyle overnight), and according to his foster mom he is an absolute dream. Her biggest note: This boy is a cuddle bug. If she's anywhere near him, he needs to be touching her somehow. A paw on her leg. His head resting on her feet. He's also super playful and loved playing fetch earlier today. But wait, there's more�'�| He's potty trained. Yeah! Euthanasia-listed boy is literally a cuddler, perfect, and POTTY TRAINED. He waits for his walks like a gentleman. Seriously�'�| how was this dog on the euthanasia list? Health-wise he's doing great: eating well, active, and happy. The only thing we've learned so far is that cats are not his vibe. On walks he locks in like a little hunter when he sees one, so we're confidently saying no cats in his future home. His foster is also slowly working on introductions with her Golden Retriever. Albus is dog friendly and isn't an issue�'�|but it's only day two, and sometimes dogs just need a minute to adjust when their whole world changes overnight. That being said�'�| we might need a backup foster, just in case. But the text from his foster that stuck out to me today was this: 'I truly cannot believe he was never adopted. He has such a sweet soul.' And that right there is why we keep pulling dogs from euthanasia lists. Because sometimes the dog everyone overlooked�'�| is actually someone's perfect best friend waiting to happen. Let's help him find his person, and someone find their new best friend.
