About Oreo

This handsome kid is Oreo. He is half Cattle Dog, half Husky, and all handsome. He was born around 10/30/2024 and weighs 46 pounds. Oreo is a smart guy. He knows: Sit, Stay, Through, No, Leave it, Off, Gentle, On Your Bed�'�|and he will have fun practicing plus learning more. He is food motivated and will sit for his dinner or a treat. He is also house and crate trained. Oreo is shy but curious when meeting new people. Treats and a hint of patience turn him into a friend. He is equally nice with men, women, and even older kids. Small kids may be too busy for Oreo. Oreo is good with other dogs, large and small, and even likes to play. Bonus: he is also good with cats! Just be sure to go slow for a polite introduction, and a dog savvy cat should be fine in a house with Oreo. Oreo is a fun guy for going on adventures and errands. He is good on leash, though he pulls at the start because he is excited to go. He walks politely past other dogs when on walks. He is good in the car, and does get a little car sic from time to time. Nothing that dampens his happiness to go for a ride. As for fetch, Oreo does it sometimes. Oreo is a great dog and someone will be lucky to have him. Oreo is always happy and smiling. He loves to cuddle and fall asleep next to you, but is also happy to rest or sleep in his crate or on his dog bed. He loves to be with his human and canine family, but also enjoys hunting gophers and playing with other dogs. He is curious and independent enough to occupy himself or be left at home with a canine friend. Oreo loves life and is a bundle of joy 24/7. His happiness is contagious and everyone who knows him feels it. Oreo is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He is located in NE San Diego County, CA, and is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt here. We do not ship dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
