About Ranger

This blue guy is Ranger. He is a 6-7 years old Australian Cattle Dog who weighs around 30-35 pounds. He has a full raccoon tail. For those who k own the breed, we know this is a great age! Out of the puppy stage, plenty of energy, and also able to relax at the end of the day. Ranger is a best buddy kind of dog, and his best buddy passed away. Now he needs a new best buddy. Ranger knows his name and has good recall. He is house trained, too. Ranger is good with people and grew up as a guy's buddy. He hasn't been around small kids so we think junior high or older is better if there are kids in the house. Ranger is a friendly guy and will bark at the gate but be nice when his person lets other person into the yard. Ranger is good with large and small dogs. He does like to play with some dogs. Ranger di also good with several cats and was raised with them. He would be fine with a herder savvy cat in his new home. Ranger does like to play tug of war. We don't know if he fetches. Ranger so good for going places with his person. He is good on leash and good in the car. He has gone places with his prior person and enjoys trips. Plus, he is good with water and on boats. He even likes the beach. Then, when the fun is done, Ranger is a good cuddler. Buddy's ideal home is with one or a few adults who are prepared for the quirks of this breed and are ready for a very best friend, because that's what Ranger is. Ranger isn't neutered and likely needs his vaccines updated. He is located in Hesperia, CA, and is ready to meet adopters who can meet and adopt here. We do not ship dogs.
