About Tyberius

Adoption Fee: $70
Pit Bull / Bullmastiff
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

I am looking for the right home for my 5-year-old pit bull / bullmastiff mix (about 90 lbs) named Tyberius (affectionately known as Wiglet, Piglet, or Wig Pig) He is very energetic and loves to play and be around the people he trusts. He forms strong bonds to his person once he gets comfortable. He has no bite history with people or animals, but he is naturally cautious with new people and can be aggressive/defensive towards other animals when in close proximity upon first introduction. Although he was raised with my other 8 year old boxer mix, he takes time to integrate with other animals. He needs slow/respectful introductions, but once he feels safe with someone (or another animal), he becomes affectionate, protective, and very devoted. Important things about him: %BD' 5 years old, about 90 lbs %BD' No bite history with people or animals %BD' Needs slow introductions with new people %BD' Should be the only pet %BD' Would do best in a calm home with experienced dog owners He would thrive with someone familiar with large breeds or guardian-type dogs who can give him structure, training and patience while he builds trust. He has had puppy vaccinations but will need updated vet care and neutering. This is a very very difficult decision and I want him to go somewhere stable where he can be safe and loved long term. If you or someone you know have experience with large breeds and think you could provide the right home, please message me
