Help. I am in danger since am considered a longer-term doggie at the shelter, so when it gets over-capacity, which it often does, I may be made to 'disappear', be no more. I am only about 2 years old, have a lot of life left to live, lots and lots of love yet to give. The volunteers think I am cute as a button, say I listen like I've had years of wisdom, instead of only about 2 years of it, and that I am a very good boy. I have long legs, nicely shaped. Like to play in the snow, am doing good with my sit. Did nice while meeting a boy and girl doggie on leash, am not the pushy type. Sadly though, not much time outside, nor playing with other doggies, nor snuggling/playing with the volunteers, since so many dogs here, not enough volunteers. Come visit me, please. Maybe take me home? We can play, take nice walks, you can teach me new tricks since am smartie, snuggle up, just be with each other. With you, I won't be trapped in a kennel most of the time, won't be lonely anymore. Come. Human speaking here, please, please, if have the ability to adopt, even foster (different process, I can explain it), Bobcat, any of the dogs listed at the shelter on this site, many more that aren't listed, come out to Chicago Animal Care and Control, to meet them. These dogs aren't 'just' at risk of being euthanized, tragic on its own, but spend most of their time in their kennels, another tragedy. It shows what great dogs they are, that they are able to still continue to be great, even though caged up so much. Please, come out. If want to see other GREAT, wonderful doggies, besides Bobcat, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
