About Lucy

**Meet Lucy!!** Lucy is an approximately 1.5 year old spayed female who was found along with her brother Linus, emaciated on the side of the road. Lucy is an approximately 40-pound high energy mutt mix who is loveable and silly. Lucy has spent most of her life since being rescued in a crate, she is house trained and does not have accidents in the house but has not been extensively home trained and can be rowdy in the house when she does get time out and about but settles soon afterward and is never completely out of control. Lucy knows some basic commands and has not been worked with on recall, although she makes a habit not to go far in the fenced backyard from anyone willing to come hang out with her. Lucy LOVES kids and has been great with babies all the way up to 2 years old. She gives kisses and is always gentle with babies, although she has a bad habit of jumping on adults that we are working on. With some more love and time training lucy has the potential to be the perfect companion for an active family with or without young kids. Lucy is not bonded with her brother Linus but would not be against being adopted with him as they have not always had much but have always had each other.
