Misty is a Dream Dog - Easy-Going and Low-Maintenance! - Easy Pup! Misty is fully potty trained; Sleeps through the night; Calm; Quiet; Couch/Doggie Bed Potato; Takes treats gently; Crate trained; Healthy other than osteoarthritis; Walks not needed, access to yard or patio is sufficient; Gets along with other dogs, relaxed doggie housemate(s) to match her energy are best; Would also thrive as an only dog because people are her true love. - Great Personality! Tail wags and affection; Wants to be by your side; Loves being close to her people and following you wherever you go; Bonds quickly; Happy and loyal; Well behaved; Treat motivated; Enjoys baths and car ride adventures. - Resilient Survivor! Misty survived being shot with a BB gun, survived cancer, and miraculously survived a two-month-long severe case of pneumonia at the shelter. Despite the challenges she has faced, 10-year-old Misty remains a sweet, happy, and gentle soul! She deserves a happily ever after! - Ideal foster/adopter would be retired/work from home for human companionship, which is Misty's main driver, and maintain a peaceful home environment. Misty SO wants to relax and enjoy her Golden Years sharing love and affection with her person/people. Single-story home or downstairs Master Bedroom or ground floor condo / elevator access preferred (few or no stairs). - Medium-sized, 45-pound, Pocket Pittie/Staffie, mixed breed, short stature - Spayed, current on vet exam, vaccinations, and flea/tick medication ALL expenses, including medical, are covered by the rescue while fostering.
