Ace Needs a Foster or Adopter by March 14 to Secure His Ride to Wisconsin Ace is currently in Arkansas and needs a foster or adopter to secure his spot on the transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on Saturday, March 14, 2026. A committed home is required for him to make the trip, and we're hopeful the right person is out there. Meet Ace Ace is an 8-month-old shepherd mix who is ready for a fresh start. He was found as a stray along with 4 other dogs, 2 of which are likely siblings and the other 2 possibly parents. The probable parents are a male white shepherd/pyrenees mix and female german shepherd mix, best guess. Now he's living at a foster home outside while he waits for the chance to start a new life. Despite whatever he's been through, Ace is a happy, friendly pup who enjoys being around people and other dogs. He has a sweet personality and is eager for attention, affection, and a place to belong. Ace does well with other dogs and is people friendly. He has not been tested with cats yet, but he is likely to do well with kids. Ace is still learning the basics of home life. He is not potty trained or crate trained that we know of, but he's a young dog who should be able to learn with patience and consistency. He's currently working on his leash manners and will benefit from a family willing to help him continue building confidence and skills. Age: 8 months Gender: Male (not neutered yet) Weight: ~30 lbs Breed: Shepherd mix Spayed/Neutered: No Potty Trained: Not yet Crate Trained: Not yet Leash Manners: Working on it Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested Good with Kids: Likely yes Ace is ready to keep moving forward and would love a foster or adoptive home to help make that happen.
