��%A4%8DMeet Callie ��%A4%8D When Callie first arrived at the shelter, everything must have felt overwhelming. New sounds, new people, a whole new environment - it was a lot for a girl to take in. But with patience, kindness, and the gentle encouragement of staff and volunteers, Callie has been finding her confidence more and more each day. And now? She's eager to head out with her handlers, walking nicely on leash as she makes her way to the play yard. Once she's there, Callie loves to do what dogs do best - sniff, explore, and take in all the interesting smells around her. After she's satisfied her curiosity, she'll happily wander back over for what she's really learning to love: soft pets, attention, and quiet moments with her person. You can almost see her realizing that people can be pretty wonderful. Come meet her at Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FL, and see for yourself the sweet dog she is.
