About PINTO

PINTO is a sweet, initially shy, 2.5 year old Border Collie Australian Shepherd mix looking for a loving home. With a little time and patience he warms up and will quickly be a loyal companion. Dog friendly with both male, female medium and large dogs. He can be a unsure of himself sometimes, but just needs a little guidance to help build his confidence. Would do well as an only dog, getting all of your love or with a dog buddy to play together. House trained. Crate trained. Medium energy boy who is treat motivated, making learning commands easier. Rides well in the car. No anxiety when left home alone. Not a big barker, but will 'alert bark' to let you know a stranger is at the door. Older, respectful children recommended. Has not been cat tested, so will not be adopted to a home with cats or small critters. Only homes with fully fenced yards can be considered. No apartments please. Pinto is 45 lbs, neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative. Fostered in North Texas with transport available to most states.
