About Dozer

Dozer is a 10-month-old Great Pyrenees/Bernese Mountain Dog mix, and he currently tips the scales at a sturdy 96.1 pounds. Although he's still in his puppy phase, he is a gentle giant filled with curiosity and the joy of exploration. Dozer has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations; he is also microchipped and has tested negative for both heartworm and Lyme disease. For the majority of his young life, Dozer has been confined to the end of a chain, which has limited his experiences and socialization. He came to us alongside another dog and has shown a friendly disposition toward him, yet he hasn't had the opportunity to meet many other dogs. When he arrived, Dozer had no manners or structure and was unsure of how to embrace the affection he so desperately needed. Recently, he has started to learn the basics of leash walking and is gradually picking up the command to sit, though he's still mastering it. More importantly, Dozer has begun to soak in the warmth of love and companionship. His cheerful spirit radiates as he plays and engages with those around him. Dozer is a lively, affectionate soul just waiting for the right family to show him the love he deserves. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old, and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (DHPP), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. �%A0 Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. �%A0 Please talk to shelter staff for more information.�%A0 We only accept cash.
