About Madam Millie Butterfly

I cannot stress that enough. I need more than 'I want a dog, live in a house, and will love her'. Veterans are encouraged to inquire, but must still be vetted to ensure an appropriate match. Placement fee waived. Madam Millie Butterfly, aka Millie, is an approximately 32-pound 2-year-old presumed Cattle dog/ pit mix. Her recent owner is a sub-human who should never have a creature in her care- not even a cockroach. She wanted her euthanized because she didn't have time for her. The Veterinarian said- No way! Now safe, she is desperately searching for a loving home without cats. Cats are just not in her wheelhouse. But other dogs, children, and butterflies are her favorite companions. She is well-behaved, gentle, and squishy like a stuffed toy. She walks well on a leash, and I think she would be a wonderful hiking partner as she enjoys an adventure chasing butterflies. One thing is very important- no enclosed crates. I don't know if her former owner kept her in solitary confinement or what, but a closed crate terrifies her. She may get over this fear in time with patient teaching that it is a safe place, but until then, only with an open door if at all. This sweet girl is full-grown, spayed, and up to date on vaccines and microchipped Tell us about you, your family, your activities, your property, the city you live in, other pets in your home, and whatever else puts you on top. The more information about you, the better. What can this companion expect from you, and what are your expectations of him/her? Additionally, we will not meet halfway. Please prepare to meet in person without hurry, and be willing to have a home evaluation and viewing of your social media. There is a fee for placement to offset medical and care. Age-appropriate placement is at the discretion of the guardian advocate. Please allow several or more days for a response, as I review inquiries.
