Meet Blue ��ժ 4 If you've been looking for a small dog with a big heart and an easygoing personality�'�| Blue might just be your guy. Blue is a 7-year-old Pekingese mix weighing in at a perfect 20 lbs of compact cuteness. He's currently rocking a short haircut (he was trimmed back), but don't worry - his soft, shiny coat will grow back in beautifully. What makes Blue special? ��ժ Loves kids - truly enjoys them ��ժ Friendly with other dogs ��ժ Sweet to everyone he meets ��ժ Walks nicely on a leash ��ժ Rides well in the car ��ժ Non-destructive in the home ��ժ Uses a dog door like a pro ��ժ Loves playing with his doggy friends He is crate trained, though it's not his favorite place to hang out. He's also potty trained. Because he was neutered later in life, he's currently wearing a little belly band (wee-wee wrap) while those hormones finish settling down. That's temporary - and he's handling it like a champ. Blue is that sweet, steady companion type. Not chaotic. Not complicated. Just a happy little guy who wants to be part of the family. If you're looking for a friendly, kid-loving, low-drama best friend with short legs and a growing fluffy coat�'�| Blue is ready. ��ժ ��%90%BE Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention.
