Liza Needs a Foster or Adopter by March 14, 2026 to Secure Her Ride to Wisconsin Liza is currently in a kill shelter in Arkansas and needs a FOSTER or ADOPTER to secure her spot on the transport to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on March 14, 2026. A committed home is required for her to make the trip, and we're hopeful the right person is out there. Meet Liza Liza is about a 1-year-old lab/cattle dog (best guess) who is looking for a second chance. She was found as a stray and brought to a shelter in Arkansas, where she is now sadly on the euthanasia list. Liza is hoping someone will see her and give her the opportunity to start a new life in a safe and loving home. Liza is described as incredibly sweet and friendly. She loves people and has a gentle, affectionate personality that makes her easy to love. She also does well with other dogs and seems to enjoy their company. Because Liza came in as a stray, not much is known about her past. It's unclear if she has had any formal training yet, so she may need help with things like crate training, potty training, and leash manners. With patience, structure, and love, she will have no trouble learning and settling into a home routine. Liza has not yet been tested with cats or kids, but based on her sweet and friendly nature, she will likely do well with respectful children. Liza will be spayed before transport so she'll be ready to head north and begin her new life with a foster or forever family. Age: About 1 year Gender: Female Weight: 40lbs Breed: Lab/Cattle Dog (Best guess) Spayed/Neutered: Not yet (likely before transport) Potty Trained: Not sure Crate Trained: Not sure Leash Manners: Working on it Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not yet tested Good with Kids: Not yet tested, but likely yes Liza is ready for a fresh start and would love a foster or adoptive home to help make that happen.
