About Uncle Arthur

Breeder surrender due to age. He's around 5-6 years old. He is not accustomed to affection but likes to be held. Absolutely no training and will need a belly band until potty trained. He is a very sweet, dog but patience will be needed as he has never lived in a house, nor been shown any affection. He has been strictly a kennel dog used on an amish farm for breeding. He will allow you to pick him up and seems to enjoy affection once he settles in but he will not come running to be affectionate and you'll have to chase him down to catch him. He has never shown any fear biting behavior and will come around to enjoy affection over time. Tbe only reasons for listing him as not good with other dog and children is due to his humping and fearful behavior with sudden movements. I believe a calm mature, but not elderly home would be great for him. He will be hard for the elderly to chase around and potty train. Even a young, child free home would be great if you have the time to give his behavior to acclimate to being a housepet. When I hold him he seems to calm a bit a settle in for cuddles.
