About FELIX

MEET FELIX, a handsome and healthy 10-year-old Rottie-Dobie mix in need of a foster or forever home. Felix lost his previous foster home due to no fault of his own, and he misses having a human companion and a warm bed. Felix was rescued from a shelter a few years ago, where he was a shelter favorite, and he's currently waiting for someone to adopt or foster him. He weighs about 80 lbs. Despite his age, he is active and a very loving dog. He'll do well with a semi-active person or people who can take him for walks and hikes. He has many positive traits - he's affectionate, walks well on a leash, and is a loyal and sweet dog. He will be your best friend for life. He prefers to have his person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! He is not a barker unless it is warranted. He can also be protective of his people and property, which can be a good thing. He gets along great with female dogs around his own size. Though he can be reactive on a leash toward dogs he doesn't know. He also loves human attention and affection. He'd do well with a strong owner, too. Please email for an application.
