About Nikko

Nikko's journey is one of resilience, but also of hardship. He likely came from a life where basic care was a luxury he never knew. Painful mats pulled at his skin, his body was thin, and his eyes wept from untreated irritation. He is a senior dog, and like many older pups, he likely has some health challenges that mean his remaining time with us may be short. Despite his past, Nikko is a gentle soul who simply wants to know love and comfort. Senior dogs like him often adjust quickly to new homes and offer a unique, mellow companionship. He doesn't need grand adventures or long walks; he just needs a soft bed, regular meals, and a hand to gently pet his head.
