Quinny's story started in southern New Mexico, where she was born in June 2022. We brought her home from a shelter in August 2022, and she quickly became part of our family. She loved having space to run, explore, and play in the National Forest, even getting to experience snow during the winters there. In November 2023, Quinny made the big move with us to Florida. During that season of life she was right there with us as we welcomed our two newborns into the family. She has always been gentle and curious with them, though like many dogs she can become overwhelmed when little hands grab at her. Over time we've also discovered that Quinny doesn't get along well with our other dog. Because of this, we've had to keep them separated constantly, which has been really difficult for everyone and isn't the kind of environment we want for her long-term. Because of that, we believe the best thing for Quinny is to find a home where she can be the only dog or in a better-fitting environment, where she can relax and get the attention she deserves. She has been a loyal companion to us, and we truly want to find her a home where she will be loved, safe, and able to thrive.
