Tank was recently diagnosed with a torn ACL (CCL) in his knee. He does not have arthritis. The vet believes it's a mild tear but it will require surgery to restore stability and help him maintain his mobility long-term. Unfortunately, I recently lost my job and have already used my savings covering living expenses and previous vet bills. Right now I'm struggling to find a way to cover the surgery and manage the recovery process while also trying to get back on my feet. This is an incredibly hard post for me to make because Tank is family to me, but I want to make sure he has the best chance at a healthy and active life. I'm hoping to connect with a reputable Rottweiler rescue or experienced adopter who may be able to help him get the medical care he needs. A little about Tank: 'ۢ Adult male Rottweiler 'ۢ Very loving, loyal, and family-oriented 'ۢ House-trained and well-behaved in the home 'ۢ Extremely affectionate and a big cuddle bug 'ۢ Good with small and medium male dogs, but not large male dogs his size or bigger 'ۢ Very submissive with female dogs 'ۢ Raised with cats and does well with them 'ۢ Very obedient and protective of his owner Tank truly deserves the best care and a stable environment where he can recover and continue to live a happy life. If any rescues or experienced Rottweiler owners are able to help, or if you know of organizations that assist with medical cases like this, please feel free to reach out to me. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any guidance or support you can offer.
