About Blue

Blue found us in October. We checked for a chip to no avail and posted on all the sites. Unfortunately, no one came forward for her. When she arrived, she was not house trained or knowledgeable of any commands. She learned so many things VERY quickly!! She is a really wonderful companion, but unfortunately her temperament towards my children has not improved (likely their fault, they are wild). We've seen other dogs at the dog park and she is reactive, but we've been working on it and making progress so there is hope in that department. Unfortunately, as a mom, the safety of my children must come first and I think she would do much better in an adult or only older kids home. I can't emphasize enough how wonderful she really is, I am heartbroken we couldn't get the 5% of her problematic behaviors solved. She loves to be outside (obviously) but is also totally content to lounge around on a doggy bed (I work from home). She does not jump on furniture, unless invited. Will ring a bell when she needs to go out. Waits patiently by her food container when it's time to eat. And really gets relaxed when her whole family is in the same room AKA her job is complete :) she has solved any doggy puzzle she's been presented with very quickly and loves to be stimulated mentally. We do frequent 'brain' workouts with treats and you can see in her eyes how she thrives! She really would be a fantastic companion for the right family. All toys, food, and supplies we have will be included.
