About Honey

Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Meet Honey! She is about 6 months old and weighs 35lbs. While she will get a bit bigger, she is going to stay a medium size and will not be very large. Honey is aptly named: she is soooo sweet! She is affectionate and quick to lean in for pets. She is also one who melts over for belly rubs, if you'll give them to her! She is timid in nature, but not shy with people; more so timid of new places and new sounds. She will seek reassurance with people when she's nervous! Honey has spent time in a foster home where she is getting a glowing report. She is getting along very well with another dog in the home, and has shown great potty manners. She loves to lounge outside in the sunshine! Honey is timid about leashes and cars, and so is looking for someone who can help her learn that those are her tickets to adventures! I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. It is $185 to bring me home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458.
