About Jacob

Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Jacob is a sweet, gentle soul at ~10 years old and ~52lbs. This perfect, medium sized guy doesn't believe he should be considered a 'senior' as he still loves to go on adventures and walks. He loves going on 4 mile walks in foster! He walks very nicely on leash and wags his tail a million miles a minute. He loves to carry around stuffy toys and show them off to his people. He's done well meeting dogs here and seems indifferent with them in his space. When it comes to new men, he can be a little slower to warm up than to women, but only take about 15 minutes to accept them. Children make Jacob nervous, and he'd prefer an adult only home. He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $92.50 to bring home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458.
